Seoul Food Kintex
Last week we visited this exhibition. The expo is at Kintex in Seoul. Several Halls are packed full with exhibitors. Food and equipment. One think I noticed was that the packaging is very beautiful and elegant for the Korean products. The sweets have little sugar in them. Rice flour is used and pastel colors. The sauces are delicious and hot. The chips are plant based and come in varieties like pumpkin, sweet potatoes, beetroot, seaweed, etc…. Low in salt, and flavors if used at all. Herbs are used in the form of tees and even added to coffees.
As a bonus we also visited Wellness Food Plaza in Gangwon. The event has wellness related natural products exhibitors. Most of the products are innovative and involved research to be produced. I was impressed by the beautiful packaging material and brochures.
